Christmas Card Outtakes

Christmas is coming and that means it's time to send out Christmas cards. I know everyone either loves or hates photo cards. I happen to love them, so I took another one this year. I can't wait to be able to add Baby to the one next year! We tried to take a picture ourselves with the dogs but that didn't go so well, as you can see. Bob doesn't like to look at the camera.

Awesome Baby Gift!

I received the most amazing baby gift in the mail today. My old friend, Christie, sent me one of her Blooming Bouquets in a Snoopy theme. It has blankets, socks, bibs, and onesies folded to look like a charming bouquet. The detail is remarkable, and it is beyond adorable. She also included a stuffed Snoopy and a Snoopy costume for baby to wear. I can't say enough to convey how much I love it! If you are looking for a fabulous shower gift contact Christie. And Christie, if you are reading this, thank you so much! You made my day! You are very talented!

Snoopy, the bouquet, and the costume. You can't tell, but there are little Snoopy and Woodstock barrettes scattered in there.

The dogs didn't know what to make of Snoopy. I consider it a small victory that they didn't want to make him into a dog toy and destroy him.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, everyone! Since life has been very crazy lately, I decided not to make the dogs dress up this year. So, I am sharing the photo from last year when Bob was Spiderman and Duce was Batman. They will dress up with the baby next year.

IT'S A GIRL!

I had a feeling very early on in my pregnancy that I was having a girl. On Friday, my suspicions were confirmed at my first ultrasound. She refused to turn over to get a good view of her heart no matter what prodding the technician tried. Ah, she's stubborn already, just like her mom and dad. I think we are in trouble.

The nursery, part one

After much debate, I decided to paint the nursery blue. I will post a picture of the color later. I also decided that I was going to make the theme Baby Snoopy. This is what I have for the room so far:

How I spent my first trimester

Some of you may be wondering what I have been up to lately. Well, currently I am in my second trimester and I am feeling pretty good. However, I spent 95% of my first trimester in a pregnancy coma. I have these pictures to prove it. The dogs and cat liked to join me for naps often. In the first picture, Bubba, the cat, has a prime spot next to me and Bob is at my feet. Duce is on the top of the couch trying to find a space. In the second picture, Duce took no chances and took a spot opposite my head.
